Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

Learning tools are only useful if every student in the course can use them. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, and we treat accessibility as part of building the product rather than as a later addition.

What we do

• Keyboard access to interactive functionality, without requiring a pointing device.
• Semantic markup and ARIA labelling so screen readers can convey structure and controls.
• Attention to colour contrast and to text that scales with browser and operating-system settings.
• Responsive layouts that work at a range of screen sizes and zoom levels.
• Delivery through the institution's LMS, so students keep the accessibility settings and assistive technology they already use.

Instructor control

Instructors configure how the assistant behaves in their course. AI features that are helpful for some students can be unhelpful for others, so these are settings rather than fixed behaviour, and can be adjusted per course.

Known limitations

We are an early-stage product and accessibility work is ongoing. We have not yet completed a full third-party audit. We publish this honestly rather than claim conformance we have not verified, and we will update this statement as that work completes.

If you encounter a barrier using Smart Learning System, please tell us at admin@bayadataai.com. Describe the page or feature, the assistive technology you were using, and what happened. We treat accessibility reports as priority issues and will acknowledge them.

Students at a licensed institution may also contact their institution's disability services office, which can raise the issue with us on your behalf.
